Nine Lives is a native of Buenos Aires - Argentina, specifically from local General Pacheco ... Formed by the merger of former gang members and Desakato Sekos Belly. From who left their original bands, always had the intention of returning to the stage to play the music with which they are deeply identified, PUNK. Thus almost by chance and friendship they have, that the 5 members 28/07/2001 Gral Pacheco came together to pull those first chords. The training was now Sebastian (guitar), bag (guitar, vocals), Fisu (bass), Facundo (drums, vocals) and Mauri (vocals). First dates
arrived shortly afterwards ... They had presentations at various locations in the Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires.
Dates happened and public acceptance for his music allowed them to travel and meet lots people through recitals in various cities outside of the Province of Buenos Aires and even abroad, as in the neighboring countries of Chile and Uruguay on several occasions.
Finally, in conjunction with Patea Discos (independent producer), the Nine Lives 11/01/2003 able to complete the release of his first work called "Not What I", an EP that includes 7 tracks. A musical level, the topics included in this CD (except 1) reflect the beginnings of the band.
In 2004 Nine Lives continued to present their issues, playing in the neighborhoods with good public acceptance. Meanwhile prepared to enter the studio to record their first LP.
This year the band would step the prestigious stage the legendary Stadium Works of the City of Buenos Aires, was the 24/11/2004 when the heel to the Californian band MxPx. Tthe
band continued to grow along with the expectations of the people. Nine Lives was so entered and recorded their first album (LP) on 28/05/2004. After several months of recording, delays and other problems unrelated to the band, went on sale 15/04/2005 "My Style", again supported and in conjunction with the independent production "Kick Records." This album had its official launch on 3 September of that year, the Buenos Aires club, without a doubt an unforgettable night. "My Style" will find 14 new songs, more than 50 minutes of music, all the lyrics in English with a great melody. It also contains a video of the band live, with images taken at the stadium works. The CD brought very good reviews in the media and major magazines such as Rolling Stone (several times) and Inrockuptibles among others. NL
In October 2006 signed a contract with Miracle Records DGL Distributor and the reissue of "My Style" and "I'm not." Same material, new unified package. This is a new packaging, which includes the album "My Style" plus the EP "I did not think" full as a bonus track, 2 x 1. This new record Nine Lives allowed to reach the entire country with the distribution of all local disk in the chain Musimundo. The band is expanding more and more. For the month of May, Nine Lives back heel to MxPx, this time in the College Theater.
Happy Birthday: Sunday 24 September 2006 Nine Lives celebrated its five years of life with an incredible and unforgettable concert in the Plaza de General Pacheco, for a large crowd.
Year 2007 Nine Lives continues with his shows, always touching and very present in the local scene. Another great night was that of August 9, this time Californians heels of No Use For A Name, who are of great influence to the local pioneers in their style, for the first time visiting our country. The band continued with their performance inside and outside the country, also with launches in Peru, Venezuela and Chile, preparing to enter the studio to record their second LP.
TALK TO FART Year 2008 is the brand new album Nine Lives, produced by Nine artistically, this time from the hands of the prestigious indie label X CHANGE RECORDS. "Talking to Fart" contains 14 powerful songs, with one big difference, both musically and his lyrics for "My Style."
The first cut is called diffusion IS THE RIGHT THING. Currently the band is presenting TALK TO FART and preparing for their first video clip, working with the media for disk diffusion. On 01/11/2008 undoubtedly will have the time of year, the heel the powerful Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish at El Teatro de Flores.
