Understanding sexuality
While women are different-sex chromosomes are XX and men XY-is important to remember that everyone, from
conce ption and up to eight weeks of fetal life, brain circuits female type. After the eighth week of fetal life, the small testes of male fetuses begin to release huge amounts of testosterone which "permeate" brain circuits and transform female rate to male rate. Thus, for example, the brain center that technically the area called 'sex drive' doubles in size in the male brain. At birth, all have circuits or circuits male or female. As the female brain has not been exposed to much testosterone, girls are born with female circuits in which some areas are larger and smaller than the male brain.
